Babysoy Footie Review

Babysoy was founded on the hope of providing an affordable baby layette line of the highest quality.   Babysoy is the 1st company in the world to create baby's newborn wardrobe using eco-friendly soybean protein fiber. Babysoy is conscientious, sustainable and green by using leftover pulp from tofu, soymilk and other soy products as raw material.  How cool is that?  Each piece is designed with an appreciation and care for our mother nature in mind.
I was provided samples to facilitate this review at no charge in exchange for my honest opinion.

The founder of Babysoy came across soy from azlon (protein fiber extracted from soybean) and began his journey. Babysoy's mission is to continue to bring quality green baby clothes at an affordable price to eco-conscious parents. With soy as an introduction, they continued to include different types of sustainable fabrics that will help lessen burden on planet earth.

Babysoy is especially thrilled about their effort in helping educate caring parents to learn about the alternatives to organic cotton and discover the world of sustainable textiles. Our journey to “reduce, reuse, recycle” marks the beginning of making our planet a better place to live for the next generation!

Babysoy also believes in giving back to our society for those in need. Babysoy supports various charity organizations that continues to touch hearts and changed lives for many. Apart from active collaborations with Healthy Child Healthy World, babysoy has also donated and supported World Vision and Half The Sky charities.

The first thing I said when I felt the O Soy whale footie is "Oh my gosh, this is sooo soft!" This footie is made from super soft organic cotton and soyfiber.  Who knew soy could be made into a fabric, let alone be so soft? We were sent this adorable whale design, but this is also available in other colors with cute animal designs (elephant, zebra, dog, deer, koala, octopus, penguin and magpie).  The footie has kimono style snaps which makes it really easy to get in and out of for your baby.  I know Baby Boy really liked this feature since, lately, he HATES anything going over his head when getting dressed.  I also really liked how it also has snaps on the legs, which makes diaper changing so much easier than with other footie outfits with just zippers.  The is very true to size as well.  Baby Boy is wearing the 6-12 month and it has a little room to grow, which is typical of most 12 month outfits on him right now.  This footie comes in 0-3, 3-6, and 6-12 month sizes.  This also washed very well.  I washed it on the gentle cycle and tumble dried on low.  This adorable footie is now a new staple in Baby Boy's PJ rotation.
