Dual Language Book {Review & Giveaway}

When I was asked to review a new dual language book I was very excited.  Number 1 because I'm a teacher, so I get abnormally excited about children's books, and number 2 because I want my son to one day be bilingual.  My husband's family is Hispanic and are fluent Spanish speakers, so speaking Spanish is definitely something that we want my son to be able to do.  Since I speak very little Spanish I'm already trying to incorporate the language in his life as many other ways as I can.  This book will not only help me teach my son Spanish, but it also helped me learn some new Spanish vocabulary.

This book, Bosley Sees The World, by Tim Johnson, is one of a new series of books which are specifically designed to teach young children new words and phrases in a variety of languages. The book is available with translations in Spanish, French, Italian, German, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Arabic.

Bosley's books are self-directed learning tools and are specifically designed to help young children better understand foreign words and phrases. The teaching methods used in this book allow children to learn at their own pace and enjoy the learning process. These methods include: repeat words, simple phrases, highlighted vocab words, contextual learning, and corresponding imagery.  The pictures are nice and bright and will capture any child's eye.
