This
is a great easy recipe that can cook while you're at work or out and
about all day. Or just while you're sitting around playing with your
kids in the house:)
This will serve 4-6 depending on your hoagie roll size.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs beef round steak
1 onion, sliced thin
1 green pepper, sliced thin
1 envelope Italian dressing seasoning
1 can (14 oz.) beef broth
Provolone cheese slices
Hoagie Rolls
Directions:
Spray your crock pot with Pam or use a crock pot liner like I did.
Cut your meat into strips and place in the slow cooker.
Add the onion, green pepper, Italian dressing mix, and beef broth and kinda mix it up a little.
Cover and cook on low 7-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
I usually turn on my oven to 350 right before I'm going to make the sandwich so it can heat up a little.
Spoon the meat mixture on to the hoagie roll and top it with a slice of Provolone.
Stick it in the oven and bake until the cheese melts and the rolls crisps up a little.
Top with any condiments you would like.
These look really really good! Thanks for posting. Now I'm feeling hungry! lol!
